6 months of you.

6 months already, it doesn’t feel like it’s been that long since I first laid my eyes on your gorgeous little face.

I’d always wanted a little boy, (I would never change my princesses though). When I found out I was pregnant with you I had a gut feeling you was another girl. Everyone else was adamant you was a boy because the pregnancy was so different. No sickness, no complications, the perfect pregnancy.

We decided to pay for a private gender scan at 16weeks, I was too impatient to wait. And when she said you was a little boy I cried, I was so happy, I finally had my prince. And there definitely was no denying you was a little boy.

The day you was born I was so proud. You looked just like me. You was so content, looking into your beautiful big eyes, I felt the sudden urge of love. Everyone was so excited to meet you. I missed the girls so much, I hadn’t seen them all day so when daddy went to get them both I was so excited. Harriet took one look at you and you could see the love in her eyes. And Elsie was so amazing with you, stroking your little face, saying ‘aww baby.’

When we brought you home you just slotted into all of our lives like you’d been there forever. You was such a good baby, sleeping every 3/4hours, never really crying. And you’ve always loved the bath.

It’s been amazing watching you grow into the gorgeous, happy little baby you are today. You’ve brought so much laughter to us all. From watching your first little smiles, to now sitting up, laughing and eating proper food. Your little giggle makes us all laugh, it’s so contagious. I can’t wait to see you hit all your other milestones. Even though your a pain when it comes to sleeping, I wouldn’t change you for anything.

I love you George Joseph Michael ❤️

Aww I can’t believe it’s been 6 months 😩 I remember the group we had set up for baby’s coming and it feels like yesterday, will be nice to see both Charlie and George grow up roughly the same ages 😍
