I was kindly gifted a Doidy cup and BickiePegs pegs and toothbrush and finger massager to try with the children and review. We used them over a few days to see how they were and I honestly cannot fault either of them.
Doidy Cup
I was sent the Doidy weaning cup from Doidy Weaning. Elsie has never drank from a cup, she’s always had a beaker, so we tried the cup with her. The cup can be used from 3 months plus, it has a slant so it makes it easier for babies/children to drink from and they can see the amount of fluid that’s in the there. The slant in the cup makes it easier for them to drink, they don’t have to tip their heads back far which stops spillages. The two handles either side make it really easy to hold for those little hands. It comes in a resealable bag, so you can take it in your bag when your out and about. I was a bit nervous about using a cup with Elsie, I thought she would spill it everywhere, but she didn’t. She took to the cup really well, she was able to hold and drink from it really easy and didn’t spill a drop. I definitely recommend this cup if you’re teaching you’re babies or children how to drink from a cup. It retails at £3.80 and comes in many different colours. Doidy also do a weaning bowl, that also has a slight slant making it easy for them to spoon the food onto the spoon. You can get yours from https://www.bickiepegs.com/product/doidy-cup/
BickiePegs
I was also sent teething pegs and the finger toothbrush and massager from BickiePegs for George. George is nearly 7 months and doesn’t have any teeth yet, but he’s teething really bad so these were a great help.
Pegs
The pegs are hard biscuits that are handcrafted and made from 100% natural ingredients. You get 9 biscuits in a pack and 2 strings. The string ties around the peg and around your child’s wrist so they don’t drop them. The shape of them makes them easy to hold and they’re easy for babies to get to the front and back of their mouths, so they help with the whole teething process. The pegs are suitable for vegetarians and vegans and are GM and dairy free, so they’re perfect for babies with allergies. George seemed to really like the pegs, they’re hard but smooth so they really help with easing the pain of teething. The BickiePegs pegs can be found in boots, most Asdas and online. They retail at about £2 and can be brought here… BickiePegs
Finger Toothbrush and Gum Massager
I think these are such a fantastic idea. Every baby loves chewing on fingers, so what a great design. The Finger toothbrush and gum massager is a silicone toothbrush that you pop on your finger and let the baby chew. You put a little bit of clean water on the toothbrush before use and it cleans those little teeth. If your baby is like George and doesn’t have teeth, the other side has little bumps on that massage the gums. You get 2 in a box and they come in a little plastic container, so you can take them anywhere with you. They’re perfect for getting your baby used to cleaning their teeth, and they’re super easy to clean. They retail at around £4.50 and can be brought from Sainburys, Amazon ect. Even those these items were gifted to me, all opinions are my own. I really like all 3 products and would highly recommend. Thank you to Doidy Weaning for sending us these gifts.
