We were lucky enough to be asked to review the Cat Junior Crew Vehicles by Funrisetoys. I knew the children would absolutely love them, especially George as he is obsessed with diggers! When they arrived I let George open the box and the excitement on his face was amazing!

Cat Junior Crew Construction Pals Assortment

The first one we tried was the Construction Pals vehicle. This little digger is designed to help with fine motor skills and curiosity. You push down the head to make the face change and to hear the sounds. (Which are kid-vroom sounds.) George had so much fun pushing the digger around the floor and pushing its head down. The vehicle makes 3 different faces; happy, angry and winking. It’s a great way to teach them about emotions too, Elsie and I spoke about the faces and what emotion the vehicle was showing. Cat Junior Crew Construction Buddies Assortment

We then had a play with the Construction Buddies. (Even I loved this one.) This one is designed to help children with fine motor skills and curiosity aswell. The digger comes with 3 boulders; a large, medium and small one. The child places the boulders in the back and the truck drives forward and dumps them back out. Then it reverses and the dump truck goes back down ready for the boulders again. George was amazed! He loved putting the boulders in and seeing the dump truck lift up. It makes noises as it does it too which all children love. We counted the boulders as he placed them in and collected them when they’d been dumped. Cat Junior Crew Power Tracks Friends Play Set

We definitely saved the best til last! The Power Tracks play set is designed to help with the fine motor skills, curiosity and sensory development of a child. The track was really easy to set up, it all clicks into each other like a jigsaw puzzle. The train has a flatbed carrier for the back to put the little dump truck on and they sit on the tracks ready to go. You push the trains helmet down and off it goes, making chugging noises and going round the track. Use the brightly coloured button and toggle switch to control the trains actions. Hours of fun can be had playing with this. George sat watching the train pull the dumper along and loved using the buttons to make it refuel and make noises. He also took the dumper off the flatbed and moved it around the tracks under the barrier. The Power Track retails at £24.99 and is available at Smyth’s Toys.

The Cat Junior Crew vehicles are honestly fantastic. The Kid Vroom sounds make them come to life. All the different noises and things you can do with them are great for learning. We’ve sat and had hours of fun everyday playing with them all. George and Elsie both really enjoy playing with them, pushing them along the floor and using their imagination. Even Harriet had a play and really enjoyed them and she’s 8. So they’re perfect for the whole family to sit and play with. They’re great quality toys that will last, and bring great fun for everyone. We’re all honestly so happy with them.
